Lady-Killers and Ladies' Hearts
Lady-killers break ladies' hearts, that's a logical connection which is defined as an axiom. Moreover, they do it in a cruel and ruthless way. Womanizers make ladies' pure hearts fly without wings (or even without any addictive substances), they make these heart believe that this flight will go on forever and for always, that their love is for eternity etc.
However, sooner or later, ladies' hearts fall on the ground from their seventh heaven or cloud number nine, very often it even suggests a hearty drowning in a puddle... Ladies' hearts ache and bleed, they may even stop beating for some time displaying their total indifference to anything that surrounds them.
Of course, it doesn't mean that a woman's heart which has been broken by a womanizer will not survive. On the contrary, it will flourish in the long run. However, this flourisness may be then connected with all the spheres of life but the private one. Her heart will grow a thick skin and will never let anyone inside – just to walk on the safe side and not to break again for it will never be able to survive another crash.
The whole thing doesn't mean that we must shut ourselves up and refuse from interaction with all charming men around – what if they are all womanizers who will eventually maim your heart and life? So what, the game may be worth the candle... 'Tis better to have loved and lost...', they say.
